Now Booking: :ruina:TOUR 2009 co-headlining Imperative Reaction and Psyclon Nine

06.15.08

Psyclon Nine
(Metropolis Records)
image example Touring in support of their upcoming full-length We The Fallen, Psyclon Nine hit their mark with their last album Crwn Thy Frnicatr, which featured 11 skin crawling tracks of dark omniscient beats overlaid with haunting melodies and screaming whisper-like vocals. Now with a devoted hardcore fan base under their control, the band is preparing to unleash their next wave of sonic battery. Dark electro doesn't get much more evil than this.

Imperative Reaction
(Metropolis Records)
image example Imperative Reaction is a perfect blend of emotionally driven vocals, punchy bass lines, and driving synths. Drawing from influences ranging everywhere from AFI and Nine Inch Nails to modern EBM and noise.
Over the past few years, Imperative Reaction has honed its explosive live performances through extensive touring with VNV Nation, Combichrist, Covenant and Tiger Army as well as appearing at the legendary Wave Gothic Treffen Festival in Germany, The Reverance Festival in Madison, and headlining the second night of The Black Sun Festival in the New Haven. 2009 promises to wrap up well with a new single, as well as an addendum tour to their latest album "Minus All", and their live performances are stronger than ever with the addition of Trevor Freidrich of Combichrist on drums and Adam Vex on keys and guitar. jump to top

BABYLAND SUMMER 2009 TOUR

06.15.08

Babyland
(Metropolis Records)
image example BABYLAND embodies the integration of electronic music with the direct approach of hardcore and the intensity of junk noise. Compositions are conceptually based on the extreme emotional elements of humankind as reflected in our continual evolution and search for meaning within our own existence.

Throughout the years, elements of synth pop, hardcore punk rock, new wave, techno, drum & bass and noise have all fallen prey to our continual experimentation. We utilize machinery twisted through misuse and human error to aggressively address our audience with empathy and concern; The electronic elements and primitive rhythmic base of the music provides an intense clarity and opposition to the resulting confusion and noise. The stronghold of our existence has always been intense live performances which confront audiences with an honest celebration of extreme energy, harsh sonic and visual elements, and experimental destruction..

BPM now representing Aesthetic Perfection and Necessary Response

01.12.08

Aesthetic Perfection
(Bractune Records)
image example Does hard Electro always have to follow along the same paths? No way! Aesthetic Perfection consistently prove the contrary with an aggressive floor shakers with searing shouts, deep bass beats and an absolutely infernal drive. Daniel Graves goes far beyond standard 4-to-the-floor-stompers and ever-similar Trance-licks, knowing full well that, just like any other kind of music, a hard inferno will profit from intelligent song writing, versatile sound design and a combination of different influences with catchy melodies. Hard club smashers meet EBM-sequencers, Synth Pop influences, heavy shuffling stompers and Electropunk. Graves creates a sense of tension that few others in hard Electro can match - like the ominous calm before a devastating storm

Necessary Response
(Bractune Records)
image example The name Necessary Response was scurrying through the Electro scene like a phantom for quite a while. Becoming increasingly popular through its club hits "Forever" and "Spilling Blood", Necessary Response was featured on various compilations from the German record label Out of Line. Based on simple melodies and memorable vocal stylings, the debut album "Blood Spills Not Far from the Wound" is a dynamic and emotional record that offers much more than the typical dance floor fodder. jump to top
